MarTEL to accept evaluation of Phase tests 1 and 2 outside of existing partnership in February 2010. MarTEL tests to be officially launched in Spring 2010.

MarTEL internet based testing system is being tested and updated with tests and testing materials.
Short demo of internet based testing system is being used for dissemination of Martel project.
MarTEL Project Final Conference took place in Szczecin, Poland on 4^th-5^th October 2009, the day before the IMEC21 (2009) Maritime English Conference at same venue the Maritime University of Szczecin. MarTEL was supported with funding by EU Leonardo programme during its initial development stage between the 1^st November 2007 and 31^st October 2009 climaxing with Final conference. MarTEL is in its next stage of development to be internationally recognised as 'The International Standards for Maritime English'.
