In order to register for a MarTEL test, you should:
- Check with your institution or company to find out which phase of the test you need
to take and if applicable which part i.e. Deck and Marine Engineering
- If you want your results to be sent directly to a maritime university or educational
institution, include the correct details in the section on the MarTEL Application
Form
- Submit your application to your MarTEL test centre
Once you have registered, you should receive a confirmation email or letter about
your MarTEL test date, time and venue along with your log in user name and password
for the test. It is advisable to bring this with you on the day. If you do not know
your log in details you will NOT be able to sit the test.
The MarTEL Application Form can be completed collected in person from a MarTEL test
centre or alternatively downloaded from the internet and printed.
MarTEL is presently going through a piloting phase and test dates will be available
from the individual test centres in the coming months. A list of the existing test
