Who accepts MarTEL?
MarTEL is the new standardised maritime English test. It has been piloted in numerous
European member states by accredited maritime institutions. It is set to be launched
at the start of the New Year (2010) in at least 30 test centres across Europe. It
is forecasted that alongside many of the partner institutions MarTEL will be accepted
by:
- Maritime Universities, training colleges and schools
- Government departments and their agencies
- Professional International Maritime bodies and organisations such as shipping companies
It is hoped that candidates will be awarded an Edexcel certificate on completion
of their test which will act as a vocational qualification within the Maritime Industry
and could count towards your diploma/degree studies.
